St. Patrick School of Chatham recently received a $5,000 grant from Investors Foundation. The grant will further St. Patrick School’s mission of educating the whole child by expanding the school’s health and wellness program.  Students in grades Pre-K through Grade 3 will now receive physical education classes two days per week and students in all grades will benefit from an enhanced health and wellness curriculum.  According to Dr. Christine Ross, Principal of St. Patrick School:

Being healthy and learning how to be healthy is so important, especially to the iGen generation.  As a school community, we are committed to educating and supporting every student - body, mind and spirit.  This grant will help us expand our program to achieve this goal.

Saint Patrick School, accredited by AdvancED, is a co-educational, parochial elementary school for students in preschool through eighth grade. The school has been nationally recognized as a United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon School, and a Diocese of Paterson Star School. Saint Patrick School is also a STEM school that promotes student critical thinking and application throughout the curriculum in all grades.
