TRENTON, NJ - Gov. Chris Christie's 2016 proposed budget, which he revealed on Tuesday, will keep the School District of the Chathams state aid the same at $1,953,141.
"Initial reports are that we are dead flat from last year," Superintendent for the School Distict of the Chathams Dr. Michael LaSusa said. "While we would prefer an increase, we are happy to not experience a reduction."
According to the figures that he be found here from the state Department of Education website, Chatham will receive $1,657,762 for Special Education; $62,418 for Security; $40,600 for PARCC Readiness; $40,600 for Per Pupil Growth; $151,760 for Transportation and $1 for Additional Adjustment.
