Chatham Students Earn Degrees, Named to College Dean's List


CHATHAM, NJ - Corey Nicholas Fritts of Chatham was graduated with a degree in sport and recreation management from James Madison University during the Dec. 16/17, 2016 commencement exercises.

Fritts was among more than 800 students who received undergraduate, master's, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.

  • Julia Rebakah Wise of Chatham has been awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Professional Writing from Kutztown University. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer.
  • The following Chatham students earned dean's list honors for the Fall 2016 semester at Saint Joseph's University. Rachel Camelotto, who studies Sociology in the University's College of Arts and Sciences; Robert Torrente, who studies Marketing in the University's Haub School of Business. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean's list status for a semester.
  • Grace Conti of Chatham was named to Susquehanna University's dean's list for the fall 2016 semester. Conti, an early childhood education major in the Class of 2019, is a 2015 graduate of Chatham High School and the daughter of Brian and Dianne Conti. The dean's list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.
  • Milan Toolsidas of Chatham earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2016 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
  • The following Chatham students were named to the Marist College Dean's List for the Fall 2016 semester: Katelyn Beebe, who is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Communication; Megan Buckley, who is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Fashion Merchandising; Mary Farricker, who is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Business Administration.
  • Seton Hall University is pleased to announce that the following students from Chatham qualified for the Fall 2016 Dean's List: Michael Allen, Kaleigh Fitzpatrick, Danielle Melchionna and Patrick Sweeney. To make Dean's List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C.
  • Chatham resident Kyriaki Gavalakis has enrolled at James Madison University for the spring 2017 semester. Gavalakis's selected major is theatre.
