CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham mother Kelly Leach, a survivor of a rare form of cancer, wants to help others beat cancer as well. That's where the money raised from the Sunshine Striders One-Mile Fun Run set for Saturday, Oct. 3 (Rain date October 4), will go.
The race begins 4 p.m. at the intersection of Longwood and Dellwood avenues in Chatham. Parking is available at Chatham High School.
Every dollar raised goes directly to fund research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The Sunshine Strider Fun Run was founded by Team Pedaling Sunshine (http://bit.ly/PedalingSunshineNatl), a national Cycle for Survival team with its captains and organizers in Chatham.
