Spencer Winell, a Chatham resident and 16-year-old student at St. Peter’s Prep High School, will perform as a member of the School of Rock All Stars in a concert on Sunday, March 8 at Mexicali Live in Teaneck.

Butch Trucks, a founding member of 1995 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees the Allman Brothers Band, will be a featured guest with the All Stars, and will play a repertoire featuring many of the Allman’s signature songs as well as some of Trucks’ favorites.

“Playing with a drummer of Butch’s stature will be unforgettable and awesome,” Winell, who studies vocals and guitar at School of Rock Chatham, said. “As a member of the Allman Brothers, he’s used to being surrounded by some of the world’s top musicians, and we’ll do our best to show him the high level of playing and performing that the All Stars can deliver.”
