Chatham Tops Hanover Park in Girls Basketball, 52-27

EAST HANOVER, NJ - Freshman guard Chloe Blanc scored eight of her 10 points in the first quarter, sending Chatham to a 52-27 girls basketball victory over Hanover Park on Thursday.

Blanc led the way when Chatham (14-9) moved to a 16-4 lead. The Lady Cougars built a 27-8 lead heading into the halftime break.

Junior guard Cassandra Falone scored a game-high 14 points and handed out six assists for Chatham, which received eight points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots from freshman center Veronica Kelly. Emily Seymour finished with seven points and eight rebounds for Hanover Park (14-6).
