Chatham Township Answers Frequently Asked Questions About Affordable Housing and Possible Dixiedale Farm Development

CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ – November 29, 2017 – The Chatham Township Committee has released a 12-page Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to provide insights and answers to questions surrounding the Township’s affordable housing obligation and the potential redevelopment of Dixiedale Farms on Hillside Avenue.

“Over the past two years, the Township Committee has been working diligently to resolve our affordable housing obligation as mandated by the New Jersey Supreme Court,” said Mayor Curt Ritter speaking on behalf of the Township Committee. “During this period of time we have held public meetings and sought to answer questions from our residents. As a supplement to these efforts, we are pleased to provide this FAQ document that further addresses the questions and concerns of our residents. This document will continue to be updated over time so that we can continue to provide transparency in the process and ensure that our residents remain well informed.”
