CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham Township Committee has accepted the recommendation of the planning board and taken steps to draw up an ordinance that will rezone the Chestnut Avenue area from R-3 to R-4 on Thursday night at its regular meeting.

Resident John Giuliano requested the change and the proposal was approved by the planning board and sent to the township committee for consideration. If the ordinance is introduced at the Oct. 27 meeting, it would be reviewed by the planning board before returning to the township committee for adoption.
