On March 31, Chatham Township Mayor Kevin Sullivan and Committeewoman Karen Swartz attended NJ Reagan Day, hosted by Jay Webber, Assemblyman for the 26th District. This was the 12th year that Assemblyman Weber has put on the event.

Over 1000 fans of Ronald Reagan came out to pay tribute to the former President.  It was well attended by numerous elected Republican leaders throughout the state as well as party leaders of the GOP. Former Vice President Dick Cheney was the guest speaker and he regaled the crowd with stories of President Reagan as well as offering a harsh critique of what he sees as President Obama’s failures of international diplomacy and failing to recognize the growing threats in the world.
