Chatham Township Police Charge Driver with Being Intoxicated


CHATHAM, NJ - On March 12, at 1:19 a.m. officer Scott Herchick stopped a vehicle on Rolling Hill Court in Madison after observing it being driven erratically on Shunpike Road. After a brief roadside investigation, Emily Ciervo, 26 of Montclair, was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

Ciervo was transported to police headquarters, processed and issued summonses for Driving While Intoxicated and Careless Driving. She was released to the custody of a friend pending an April court date.

On June 9th the Chatham Jaycees will be holding their 41st Annual Chatham Fishawack Run starting and finishing at the Chatham Train Station.
