Chatham United Soccer U8 Development Program


Chatham United Soccer is pleased to announce our Under-8 Technical Development Program (previously known as the “Academy”) for 2014-2015.  All girls and boys born between August 1st, 2006 and July 31st, 2007 who are residents of Chatham Borough or Chatham Township are welcome to register.  There are no tryouts for the U8 Technical Development Program.

The Technical Development Program consists of two ten week seasons:

Sign Up for E-News

- Fall: Two weekday practices and one weekend gameday

- Spring: One weekday practice and one weekday gameday

- Small-sided scrimmage play to ensure maximum touches on the ball

- Opportunities for scrimmages and games with other towns

- Players “compete” in end of season Technical Challenges designed to test their technique in various aspects in which they have received training during the season

- Each player receives a detailed written evaluation that contains both qualitative and quantitative performance feedback.

- Cost is $550 payable in two installments (includes all training/game sessions and uniform – less than $9/hour of training/games)

- Registration ends on June 30, 2014
