The 2018 baseball season was a memorable one for the Chatham 12U White squad playing 60 total games and finishing with an impressive 40-20 record in a season that began on March 17, 2018. With snow still on the ground in Chatham, the team traveled south down the parkway to Brick, New Jersey to begin their spring season playing in the USABL St. Patrick’s Day Classic.

The team would use that early season experience to their advantage later winning the USABL Easter Battle in Hazlet, the USABL Memorial Day Classic in Branchburg and the USABL American East Spring title with an impressive 10-0 record in league play.

The summer season kicked off with a bang as the boys won 7-3 in convincing fashion over a very tough Cranford team in Ripken district play. The highlight of the baseball season was capped off with a week-long trip to Cooperstown All Star Village in Oneonta, N.Y., where the boys played nine games with a respectable 5-4 mark against teams from throughout the country including teams as far away as California.
