Chatham's Barbara Tomalonis Named Portfolio Manager at Point View Wealth Management

Barbara E. Tomalonis

SUMMIT, NJ - Point View Wealth Management, which provides customized portfolio management services and comprehensive financial planning, has named Barbara E. Tomalonis as Portfolio Manager.

Tomalonis has more than 15 years of investment management experience. Most recently, she worked for a private equity fund investing in community bank stocks, serving as a valuation and relationship consultant. Previously, she was a portfolio manager at Beacon Trust Company, where she managed $40 million of trust, estate, charitable, retirement and taxable accounts. She also was a voting member of Beacon’s equity investment committee, and managed the financial services sector exposures.

Earlier in her career, Tomalonis held both sell- and buy-side equity analyst positions at regional institutional and high net worth client firms, including First Manhattan Co., Pitcairn and Eagle Capital Management. Within her research universe, she made buy/sell recommendations on bank, insurance, diversified financial, paper/forest products and chemical sector stocks.

Tomalonis received her B.S. in Chemistry from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University. She is co-chair of the Millburn AAII Investment Education Group.

A Chatham resident, Tomalonis and her husband have two children.
