CHATHAM, NJ - Alex Chin, an 18-year-old senior at Chatham High School, was sworn in as a Probationary Firefighter for the Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department on Monday night at the regular meeting of the borough council.

Chin had been appointed to the Junior Fireman's Auxiliary Company last June.
