Chin, Wolsch Lead Chatham Softball Past West Essex, 4-0

CHATHAM, NJ - Junior outfielder Isabel Chin scored a run and drove in one to back the five-hit pitching of Susie Wolsch as Chatham shut out West Essex, 4-0, in softball played Saturday.

Wolsch walked one and struck out three in pitching the route for Chatham. Second baseman Shea Matta contributed a hit and an RBI for the Lady Cougars. Chin had a double among her two hits and Hallie Pellegrini tripled for Chatham, which received two runs scored and a base hit from Erin Winans.

Chatham swimmers from the Scarlet Elite Swim Club celebrated their end-of-the-year banquet at the Hanover Marriott with scholar athlete medals, attendance awards, dancing, trivia games, and laughs on Sunday, April 22.
