Coffey & Weber - What's Best for Chatham Borough

Dear Editor,

Having sat on Chatham Borough Council for the last nine years, I've always felt you have to earn the seat by your proven volunteerism within the Chatham community before you can run. By that benchmark alone, Weber & Coffey have committed a combined 35-plus years of volunteerism for our families, whether as Troop leader for the Boy Scouts or countless hours teaching our kids the critical.skills of teamwork and persistence through the dozens of teams both candidates have coached through the Chatham joint Recreation programs.

Their opponents have a combined volunteer experience to Chatham families of less than one year. I know both Steve and Bob and they are committed and capable of managing smart redevelopment, retaining our fiscally conservative budgeting to retain low taxes while maintaining quality services, and will focus smart traffic & safety planning to help reduce congestion around town. Coffey and Weber have my vote and I hope yours as well.
