CHATHAM, NJ – The Chatham Township Committee has announced that The Colony Pool Club (www.TheColonyPoolClub.org) will host an Open House on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 from Noon – 7:00 p.m.
Residents and non-residents alike are invited to visit the Club for free and spend an hour, or the entire day, and experience the Club’s newest amenities, including ‘The Log Roll,’ which has been a huge hit providing members hours of fun as they test their skills and try to stay atop a rolling 'log.' The Colony Café, operated by The Fairmount Country Store, offers a variety of lunch and snack options, or visitors can make use of one of the six gas grills on site.
Mayor Curt Ritter, speaking on behalf of the Township Committee, said, “We invite all families, seniors and young adults alike to join us for our Open House to see firsthand how much fun they can have this summer at The Colony Pool Club. We made significant renovations and improvements to the Club this past winter while our various amenities, including ‘The Log Roll,’ continue to be a hit with kids and adults alike. This summer we will have many of the same great events, including movie nights, live music, our Adult Luau & Pig Roast and more. The Colony Pool Club remains one of the best kept secrets in Morris County, offering arguably the most affordable membership rates of any swim club in the area, with amenities and activities that are hard to beat!”

The Colony Pool Club Swim Team is a member of the North Jersey Summer Swim League. Its competitive Swim Team is a great way to have fun, get exercise and meet new friends. The swim coaches this year include Head Swim Coach Megan Decker, and Assistant Coaches Kathryn Visco and Quinn Tomaro.
Swim lessons are based on the Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Swim program. Registration is now OPEN. Group Swim Lessons are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings to children who are members, at least four years of age.
Club members will be able to show their Colony pride this summer with a selection of new apparel and summer items, which may include T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, beach towels, koolers, koozies, plastic cups, car magnets and more.
