MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris Animal Inn offers a free "Puppy Primping" as part of its Pet Grooming and Spa services.

Puppies five months or younger will receive a bath, a brushing, a paw massage, an ear cleaning, a cologne spritz, and a bow or bandana as part of their "Puppy Primping."

"With the puppy primping, they are introduced to the grooming process and get used to the sights and sounds associated with it," Deb Montgomery, marketing manager for the Morris Animal Inn, said. "We start with a nice, warm bubble bath, followed by a gentle brushing.

"When you start them young, they become comfortable being handled. If you wait too late, they're not used to it, so might get anxious. The younger you start them, the better. - That's why we recommend the puppy primping. And the first visit it is complimentary."

The Morris Animal Inn also offers half-day and full-day puppy play, which helps with socialization with other dogs at a young age.
