MADISON, NJ—Club Pilates, one of Madison’s newest businesses, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday with Mayor Conley outside its new studio location at 53 Main Street.
Members of the Downtown Development Commission, the Madison Chamber of Commerce and several Club Pilates team members, including club owner, Caroline Collins, and general manager, Cara DePaul, were all on hand to celebrate.
“We have a thriving downtown so it’s always a pleasure to have that symbolic ribbon cutting to welcome new businesses into Madison,” Conley said.
Club Pilates staff said they are proud of their beautiful, modern studio space, which utilizes top-of-the-line reformers and equipment they incorporate into a variety of class offerings.
After hosting a grand opening event May 18-21 when special promotions were offered, including reduced membership rates and complimentary classes, the staff said they are excited to be adding new members every day.
Both early morning and evening classes have gained in popularity since the studio’s April 29 soft opening, according to DePaul.
“We’re thrilled to be in Madison and are off to a great start as our client list continues to grow!” DePaul said. “I encourage anyone who walks by Club Pilates to stop in and check out our studio. We are happy to show people around and answer any questions they may have. Our knowledgeable, experienced instructors are ready to work with clients of all skill levels.”
Madison is one of two Club Pilates locations owned by Caroline Collins, who chose Main Street for its easy accessibility and great downtown, according to DePaul.
“Club Pilates is a workout that focuses on core strengthening and functional movement,” Collins said. “It engages your mind and your body, which builds the foundation to increase strength, flexibility, spinal health and body control, all which help you throughout your daily life. In addition, and best of all, you can start at anytime. It’s great for everyone!”
Club Pilates also has a location at 770 Morris Turnpike, Short Hills, New Jersey.
