CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham boys and girls basketball teams open play on Friday, Dec. 27th, in the Cougar Classic at CHS, which will benefit "Good Grief" of Morristown.

The Chatham Athletic Boosters sponsors the classic, which will include boys teams from Millburn, Madison and New Providence. The girls bracket includes Gov. Livingston, Hunterdon Central and Columbia.

In boys action on Friday, Millburn and Madison square off at 2 p.m. and Chatham plays host to New Providence at 8 p.m. The girls match up Gov. Livingston and Columbia at 4 p.m. and Chatham and Hunterdon Central at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, Dec. 28, Gov. Livingston meets Hunterdon Central at 2 p.m. and Chatham takes on Columbia at 6 p.m. The boys doubleheder on Saturday matches Madison and New Providence at 4 p.m. and then Chatham vs. Millburn at 8 p.m.

The Cougar Classic concludes on Monday, Dec. 30. On the girls side, Hunterdon Central and Columbia play at 2 p.m. and Chatham plays Gov. Livingston at 6 p.m. The boys continue at 4 p.m. with New Providence and Millburn and then Chatham plays Madison in the 8 p.m. finale.
