De Keyzer 7 Goals Highlight State Tournament Win for Chatham Girls Lacrosse over Middletown South

CHATHAM, NJ - Junior Emilie de Keyzer produced seven goals and an assist to highlight Chatham's 18-5 girls lacrosse victory over Middletown South in the opening round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 state tournament on Thursday at Haas Field.

Chatham (12-6) received a goal and four assists from senior Abby Morgan and a goal and three assists from senior Schuyler Bixby.

The Lady Cougars also received two goals and an assist from Catherine McNiff and two goals and two assists from Ann Francesco. Scoring a goal apiece for Chatham were Michelle Connolly, Frances Workman, Katie Farricker, Lizzy O'Neill and Izzy DeZenzo.

Chatham plays host to Mendham, 4 p.m. Monday at Haas Field in the state sectional semifinal round.
