TOMS RIVER, NJ - Chatham's pole vault team of Julian de Keyzer and Ryan Storm placed second and the Cougar tandem of Sam Dennerlein and Kristian Roos placed third in the shot put at the NJSIAA Group 3 relays held Tuesday in the Bennett Center.

Despite resting several relay teams in preparation for the Morris County Championships on Wednesday, Chatham placed fifth at the Group 3 relays with 14 points.

DeKeyzer cleared 12 feet and teammate Storm set a personal record with a vault of 11 feet for Chatham.

Chatham's shot put team combined to throw 93 feet, 10.75 inches with Dennerlein setting a personal record of 51 feet, 1 inch and Roos making a best-ever throw of 42 feet, 9.75 inches.

Chatham's shuttle hurdles team of Ryan Varca, Kevin Ferreira, Thomas DePinto and Kristian Roos placed eighth with a time of 33.74.
