Digital Photo Course at Chatham Senior Center

The Senior Center of the Chathams is offering a Digital Photography Workshop on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 am—12 pm, May 3, 6, 17 and 20. The sessions, conducted by Chatham resident Ron Whalin, will cover how to use your camera, import pictures to your computer, save and send pictures, create albums, make a slide show, edit your photos, and more. This is the perfect class to learn how to preserve and share your vacation photos.

Class size is limited to 4 students using our desktop computers and 3 more students using their personal laptops. Please specify when signing up whether you will be using your own laptop or the Center's desktop computers. Computers must have either Windows XP or Windows Vista. Mr. Whalin will contact each student prior to the first class to discuss your camera and computer and will meet with each student to download the required software at no extra charge, therefore students are asked to register for the class by April 26th.

Students must be comfortable using the computer and have a digital camera. Mr. Whalin will supply software to download to your home computer. (The software used is only compatible with P.C.'s not MacIntosh computers).

Cost for 8 hrs of instruction is $60 for seniors and $70 for those under age 60. All are welcome to attend. Please call the Center at 973-635-4565 for further information and registration.
