CHATHAM, NJ - Junior Emma Droner scored in the first minute of action, sparking Chatham to a 3-0 girls soccer victory over Bernards on Saturday in the season opener at Haas Field.

Sophomore Jen Olnowich and junior Caroline Crouse scored a goal apiece for Chatham. Junior Emily Vinick and freshman Sophie Straka were each credited with an assist. Olivia Mathern made seven saves in earning the shutout in her first varsity start.
