Education Seminar: Step Up For Israel

Rabbi Matthew A. Reimer of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills will begin his three-class adult education seminar entitled "Step Up for Israel — A Response Through Film," on Sunday morning, Dec. 4 at 9:45.  The series ends on Dec. 18.

Over bagels and coffee, Reimer will discuss how to respond to negative comments, misinformation and false accusations about Israel.  Through film and discussion, the class will study current events, look at the roles of the various players in the peace process, and look at how terminology such as divestment, delegitimate and destruction are used with negative connotation when referring to Israel.

The class is presented in partnership with the Community Relations Council of the United Jewish Community of MetroWest, and is open to members of the community.

For further information about Adult Education at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun contact Executive Director Alice Lutwak at 973 379 1555 or info@tbj.org.
