MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Katie Farricker gave Chatham a great start to the season when she scored off a pass from Nicole Smizaski just two minutes into the game. But Columbia came back to win the girls soccer season opener, 2-1, on Thursay at DeHart Field.

Naomi Joseph connected for a goal with three minutes left to break the 1-1 tie for Columbia, which received a goal from Sophia Ratkevich in the first half. Chatham goalie Sophie Collins was credited with five saves.
