CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham is represented by five players on the first team of the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference, All-American division football team. 

Quarterback Alex Sands, running back Justin Hayes and wide receiver Robbie Moskowitz were named to the NJAC Amercian all-conference offensive team. Linebackers Ryan Barnett and Matt Nestler were named to the NJAC American all-conference defensive team.

Chatham (9-2) meets top-seeded and undefeated Cranford (11-0) for the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 title, 7 p.m. Friday at Kean University.

Sands has thrown for 1,117 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, completing 64.1 percent of his passes. He also has rushed for 207 yards and a touchdown and caught one TD pass.

Hayes is averaging 9.3 yards per carry, with 701 yards on 75 attempts and 5 rushing TDs. His longest run of the season went for 68 yards.

Moskowitz leads Chatham in catches with 25, receiving yards with 314 and averages 12.6 yards per catch. Moskowitz has 5 TD receptions. His longest reception was a 59-yard gain vs. Barringer in the first round of the playoffs.

In addition to their defensive prowess, running back Nestler has rushed for 518 yards and 8 TDs while tight end Barnett averages 12.5 yards per catch and has 4 receiving TDs.

Also named to the NJAC team for Chatham were All-American second-team selections: running back/quarterback Timmy Adams and wide receiver Chris Bredahl and center Michael Kellstrom on offense and linebacker Nick Zack and safety Brian Brady on defense.

Chatham two-way lineman Colin Ness earned honorable mention.
