“Flowers don’t worry about how they’re going to bloom. They just open up, and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful.” - Jim Carrey
CHATHAM, NJ - Flower-themed pieces, including, paintings, photography, etchings and multimedia will be on display during the month of April from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at CSM Art & Frame, 295 Main Street in Chatham.
“The exhibit will feature a totally new body of work from several of our artists — both emerging and established,” Caryn Krueger, gallery owner, said.. “We are all craving color and fresh beginnings this time of year, and with that we have compiled a collection of varied interpretations of the flower in different mediums. There are also some exciting new abstract pieces included in the show that are fresh and spring-themed, exploding with color.”
CSM Art & Frame, housed in the historic Carriage House, is saluting the arrival of springtime with an art show that features a vast collection of floral imagery. Krueger has assembled this upcoming exposition that will highlight an assortment of striking flower-themed pieces. Artists with works on display include Sacco & Watt, Antonio Murado, Carol Nussbaum, Dorothy Ganek and Marcia Reich.
Along with the florals, CSM will also display a grouping of other recently acquired works in the gallery.
“When interior designers or art buyers come into the gallery in April, there will be a great, new selection of art," Carol Burt, Krueger's associate, said. "We are very excited for all of this to take shape.”
Chatham’s highly regarded florist, Bloomers, will be joining forces with CSM on social media as they celebrate the beginning of spring together. A special floral arrangement will be included in the exhibit.
