Cindy Gelormini, aka “The Paint Diva of New Jersey” will be hosting a Home Expo at the Murray Hill Inn in New Providence on February 20, 2016. The “early show” at 4:00-6:30 and the “late show” will be from 7:00-9:30 pm. She has invited local designers to speak and local business owners and contractors will be there for you to meet while you taste wine and food samples from the new hotel restaurant “Moe’s Bistro.”
Cindy is a decorating, staging and paint color consultant and is well known to local home owners as the Benjamin Moore Color Expert who worked at McGrath’s Paint and Hardware in New Providence for the past ten years. She was the host of “A Taste For Design” on HomeTowne Television and is also a licensed Real Estate Agent and Sales Associate with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in New Providence. She has earned many nicknames such as “The Paint Whisperer” “The Paint Doctor” “The Paint Guru” and “The Paint Wizard” among others because she has helped thousands of local homeowners successfully choose colors they love for their homes and businesses. The Paint Diva has hosted several very popular and successful events of this type at the Connection for Women and Families and the Twin Maples, both in Summit, with each event focusing on “Food, Wine and Interior Design”. Last year her sold out “Shades of Gray” party focused on choosing the perfect shade of gray and also included a fashion show. This year’s event will be even bigger and better. The Paint Diva will focus more on choosing paint colors from a real estate perspective, the importance of staging a home for sale, and whether or not that kitchen remodel is worth the investment. Other speakers will discuss how to de-clutter and get more organized, the newest kitchen and interior design trends coming up in 2016, and attorney Karolina Dehnhard will offer ten quick tips on what every homeowner should know.
Moe’s Bistro will offer food samples from their new Mediterranean style restaurant and wine tastings will be available at the bar. As you sample food and wine you can stop by tables and chat with a contractor, painter, architect, audio technician, mortgage broker, attorney, carpet, tile, window, kitchen and interior design professionals. Following the discussion about de-cluttering, meet a personal stylist who can help scale down the closet, and there will be tables with jewelry, shoes , accessories and high end clothing.
Reservations are required as space is limited. The cost for the event is $25 per person which will be collected at the door, cash or check.
