During this time of uncertainty and stress, The Chatham Club has put together several free workout videos that you can do from the comfort of your home with limited to no equipment.

This week’s video features our personal trainer, Chrissy Stanley, B.S., NSCA, AFAA.  Chrissy is a Certified Personal Trainer through NSCA, as well as a Group Exercise instructor through AFAA, and holds a Barre Intensity certification. Chrissy joined the Club in 2009 and began teaching group exercise classes in 2015. Her classes include: TRX, Strength Training, Barre, HIIT and Boot Camp. She has experience training young athletes in cross country running, track & field and lacrosse. Chrissy is an avid runner and has completed 9 marathons. She offers diversity and challenge to make each workout for her clients unique, effective and results driven.  Chrissy’s inclusive training style is motivating and challenging for all fitness levels!

If you’ve never taken a Barre class before, it stems from the art of ballet to blend cardio, strength, flexibility, balance, and core work into a full body workout.  It infuses elements of yoga and Pilates and is designed to trim, tighten, and tone your entire body.  Chrissy’s class requires a chair and a couple of light weights.  If you do not have weights, feel free to use what you have lying around - water bottles, cans, etc.
