CHATHAM, NJ - Collin Frost of Randolph made an impressive debut at the Fishawack Run by completing the 4-mile course in 19:58, averaging 4:59 per mile and beating his closest competitor by 50 seconds. 

The top three finishers, including the 25-year-old Frost, all had a connection to the Chatham High cross-country team. Frost, a former Cougar coach, now teaches and coaches at Delbarton. Placing second was Chatham High senior distance runner Bo Raadam and Chatham coach Nick DeSantis was third.

A year ago, Kate Babcock placed third among women at Fishawack and she returned in 2018 to win in 25:37.82.

"I've been training for this race," Babcock said.

A runner to watch in the future is Chatham 11-year-old Mia Semioli, who ran the four miles in 29:02.65 to become the eighth female overall to cross the finish line.
