CHATHAM, NJ - On Tuesday, May 13, supporters of Peter Fico, Republican candidate for Chatham Township Committee, gathered in support of his candidacy to raise funds and awareness of Fico's campaign.  Attendees attested to Fico's qualifications to sit on the Committee and lauded his willingness to serve the community he has lived in for over 20 years.

Among the attendees were Chatham Township Mayor Kevin Sullivan, as well as former Mayor Nicole Hagner and Chatham Township Republican Committee Chairman Tom Basta
Hagner stated, "I am pleased to be supporting Peter's candidacy for Township Committee.  He served the town with distinction over his tenure as Municipal Prosecutor, and I have no doubt he'll do the same as a member of the Township Committee."
Fico added, "It was wonderful to see my friends and neighbors come together in support of our campaign.  As I go door to door to meet Chatham Township residents, the thing I hear over and over is that we must keep the municipal tax burden low to combat spiraling taxes at other levels of government.  I will be a passionate advocate for small, efficient government as a member of the Chatham Township Committee."
Fico served as Municipal Prosecutor for almost 20 years prior to his retirement in 2013.  In addition, he is a former member of the Chatham Township Board of Adjustment.
