CHATHAM, NJ - Darren Yen earned a bronze medal in the Division II Men's Saber competition last week at the 2017 National Fencing Championships held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Yen placed third out of 156 fencers at the national championships. He also earned his fencing B rating.

Darren Yen is the Hawk Allstate Chatham Athlete of the Week.

Yen also received two awards from USA Fencing. He made the All-Academic First team and was named Second Team All-American.
