Horan, Kirton Place First for Chatham Girls Track in Dual Meet with Morristown

CHATHAM, NJ - Brigid Horan won the intermediate hurdles and Simone Kirton won the high hurdles and the 100-meter dash to lead the Chatham girls track team in its 84.2 to 48.5 dual meet loss to Morristown on Tuesday at Cougar Field.

Horan clocked 70.2 to win the intermediate hurdles and Kirton won the high hurdles in 14.4 and the 100 in 12.3 for the Lady Cougars, who also received first-place finishes from Grace Rubacky, with a time of 12:46 in the 3,200, and Nicole Goldschmidt with a throw of 77 feet, one inch in the discus.
