Horan, Kirton Win Three Events for Chatham Girls Track in Win Over Montville

MONTVILLE, NJ - Brigid Horan and Simone Kirton each won three events for Chatham to highlight Chatham's 76-60 girls track victory over Montville on Monday.

Horan crossed first in the 400 in 1:04; won the long jump with a leap of 15 feet, 6 1/2 inches, and the triple jump at 29 feet, 7 3/4 inches.

Kirton won the 100-meter dash in 12.6; the 100 high hurdles in 14.6 and the 200-meter dash in 27.0.

Also placing first for Chatham were Rashida Haye, with a time of 1:10.4 in the 400 intermediate hurdles; Abbie Bigham in the 1,600-meter run in 5:52; Margaret Harrigan in the 800-meter run in 2:35.5, and the 4x400 relay team of Rashida Haye, Noelle Bessette, Phoebe Nichols, Nicki Smizaski in 4:27.7.
