MORRIS PLAINS,  NJ - Chatham senior Veronica Kelly scored 20 points to lead all scorers and moved within 14 of 1,000 career points in Chatham's 64-20 girls basketball win over Parsippany Hills on Wednesday.

The 6-2 Kelly boosted her career point total to 986 and will get a chance to become Chatham's 10th girls basketball player to reach 1,000 points when the Lady Cougars play host to Bayonne on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Senior guard Chloe Blanc scored 11 points for Chatham (5-5), which also got nine points from Camryn Davies in the matchup with Parsippany Hills (2-7).
