CHATHAM, NJ - Thaddeus Kobylarz and Robert Weber, newly elected members of the Borough of Chatham Council, will be sworn in at the 2018 reorganization meeting of the council set for Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Kobylarz and Weber will be starting three-year terms. They are replacing Jim Lonergan, who served three terms, and Gerald Helfrich, who served two terms.

Included in the agenda for the meeting is a resolution approving commuter bus parking at the Chatham Railroad Station for trips to New York City at 6 a.m., 9 a.m., and returns from New York at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The resolution will make permanent the temporary agreement made over the summer for commuter bus service offered by Boxcar, which helped ameliorate the interruption in the Midtown Direct service during NJ Transit repairs.
