MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Freshman center Alex Laferriere scored two goals in the second period and earned an assist in the third period as Chatham skated to a 4-1 ice hockey victory over Roxbury on Thursday at Mennen Sports Arena.

David Andreychuk and Evan Schmidt each had assists on both of Laferriere's goal in the second period for Chatham (11-3-2).

Senior Sam Ortolani converted a pass from Laferriere 4:12 into the third period, staking the Cougars to a 3-1 advantage. Jack O'Neill capped the scoring for Chatham off a pass from Colin Pierce.

Cougar goalie Jamie Boles made 18 saves against Roxbury (13-4).
