CHATHAM, NJ - Jack Lamar doubled across two runs to highlight a seven-run rally in the fourth inning and Billy Gyves came on to pitch in the seventh to nail down the 7-4 win for Chatham over Mount Olive on Monday at Chatham High.

Junior left-hander Matt Stamford won it with 6 1/3 innings of work for Chatham (13-3), taking a shutout into the top of the seventh. Gyves got the final two outs to earn the save.

The Cougars pushed across seven runs in the fourth inning. In addition to Lamar's doiuble, Chris Delsrandro contributed an RBI double and Matt Devlin, Sam Browning, Jimmy Cunningham and Connor Winans each knocked in a run for Chatham.

The Cougars meet Mendham, 7 p.m. Wednesday at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, home of the Somerset Patriots.
