CHATHAM, NJ - The Library of the Chathams will host a live-stream viewing party of NASA's coverage of the rare total solar eclipse that will take place Monday, Aug. 21.

The library event begins at 12 noon and concludes at 4 p.m., featuring the NASA television broadcast, which will cover the eclipse from coast to coast. NASA will broadcast the eclipse from various sources, including the International Space Station, for the show titled: Eclipse Across America: Through the Eyes of NASA.

New Jersey residents will experience a partial solar eclipse of more than 70 percent.

The NASA show will include live reports from Charleston, as well as from Salem, Oregon; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Beatrice, Nebraska; Jefferson City, Missouri; Carbondale, Illinois; Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Clarksville, Tennessee.
