BOONTON, NJ - Senior Colin Logsdon placed second in the 3,200-meter run and sophomore Sam Dennerlein gained third place in both the shot put and discus to help the Chatham boys take fourth place as a team at the Morris County Track & Field Championships on Thursday at Boonton High.
Logsdon clocked 9:22.3 to earn his silver in the 3,200. Dennerlein hit 49 feet, 6.5 inches in the shot put and threw the discus 141 feet, 5 inches to take his bronze medals.
In the javelin, Chatham junior Kristian Roos placed third with a throw of 148 feet.
Also placing for Chatham was senior Thomas Walsh, who jumped 6 feet in the high jump to place fourth and junior Julian de Keyzer, who cleared 11 feet to place fifth in the pole vault.
