Madison Area YMCA Gators Basketball Tryouts

The Madison Area YMCA is now holding basketball tryouts for U-12 and U-14 teams. Afterschool sports are a healthy way for children and teens to stay active and productive when the school day ends. Tryouts will be held in the gym at the family center on Sunday, October 23, Tuesday, October 25 and Thursday, October 27. Players should try to attend at least two of the three dates.

U-12 is for players whose birth date is on or after September 1, 1999. U-14 is for players whose birth date is on or after September 1, 1997. For ages 12 and under, registration times are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm and Sundays at 4:45pm. Practice times are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15pm until 7:45pm and Sundays at 5:00pm until 6:30pm. For ages 14 and under, registration times are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 6:15pm. Practice times are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:45pm until 9:15pm and Sundays at 6:30pm until 8:00pm.
