Madison Area YMCA Gymnastics Team Ranks 3rd Nationally

The Madison Area YMCA is proud to announce that the gymnastics team, the Rosette’s, placed third in the YMCA National Competition held in Milwaukee, WI, from June 29 through July 2.

“We’re extremely proud of our team,” said Ellen Gavin, Madison Area YMCA Gymnastics Director. “The team worked hard and turned out outstanding routines during the competition.”

The Gymnastics Department practices team unity, determination and highly regards the YMCA core values.

Interested in Gymnastics at the Y? Four-day summer clinics for 3.5-6 year-olds and 7-14 year-olds run each week Monday through Thursday. Two-day summer clinics for 3.5-6 year-olds and 7-14 year-olds run each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Spots are available for both age groups from now through the week of August 27. Sessions are 10:30-12:30 p.m.

Fall session begins September 10. Registration for fall gymnastics classes for members begins on Tuesday, August 21, at 7:30 p.m. online or in person. Non-member registration begins Tuesday, August 28, at 9:00am in person only.

Chatham's Meghan LeMon Awarded Degree from Miami University in Ohio

OXFORD, OH -- Meghan LeMon of Chatham was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Millett Hall.

LeMon graduated MAGNA with a BA degree, majoring in Speech Path & Audiology.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.
