MADISON, NJ - North Jersey Food pantries will hold the Action Against Hunger Food Drive this Sunday, Oct. 5.

To assist in their efforts, the Rotary Club of Madison will set up a food collection station at the ShopRite of Chatham, one of over 100 locations participating in this effort.

Community food banks, such as the Interfaith Food Pantry, serve as a lifeline for those in need. The most sought-after items include non-perishable, nutritious food such as canned vegetables, meats, fish and fruits; hearty soups and stews; pasta; white and brown rice; cereals, oatmeal, pancake mix, baby formula, low-sugar or low sodium foods.
