SUMMIT, NJ - The news spread quickly, "Magic Fountain is about to reopen."
Among the first in line for the Friday reopening of Magic Fountain, closed down since April because of an electrical fire, was Katie Foot of Chatham Township.
"I'm excited," Foot said.
Summit residents Owen Healey, Josh Khanin and Stefan De Jongh were the first three in line at around 10:30 a.m. after learning on instragram that Magic Fountain was about to begin serving ice cream again. The three 13-year-olds all said they would order a Magic Fountain blend milk shake.
Daniel Horn, 20, also from Summit, heard from the owner that it was about to reopen, and was second in line behind the boys.
