SUMMIT, NJ - The news spread quickly, "Magic Fountain is about to reopen."

Among the first in line for the Friday reopening of Magic Fountain, closed down since April because of an electrical fire, was Katie Foot of Chatham Township.

"I'm excited," Foot said.

Summit residents Owen Healey, Josh Khanin and Stefan De Jongh were the first three in line at around 10:30 a.m. after learning on instragram that Magic Fountain was about to begin serving ice cream again. The three 13-year-olds all said they would order a Magic Fountain blend milk shake.

Daniel Horn, 20, also from Summit, heard from the owner that it was about to reopen, and was second in line behind the boys.

Chatham's Meghan LeMon Awarded Degree from Miami University in Ohio

OXFORD, OH -- Meghan LeMon of Chatham was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Millett Hall.

LeMon graduated MAGNA with a BA degree, majoring in Speech Path & Audiology.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.
