HOLMDEL, NJ - Bo Raadam set a personal record at the venerable Holmdel Park course and senior classmate Colin Logsdon crossed five seconds later, giving Chatham a race to remember at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on Saturday.
Raadam's time of 16:07 in the 5K race gave him 10th place and Logsdon's 16:12 time placed him 11th.
"For the first time in school history, the cross-country team had two finishers in the top twenty individuals for the entire state," Chatham coach Patrick Barry said. "The top twenty finishers receive medals and they are the first Cougars to do so in over ten years. Bo and Colin are among the top five individuals who have ever competed for Chatham High School."
Morris County runners took five of the top twenty positions and NJSIAA North II, Group 3 runners took six of the top twenty spots.
"This highlights the level of performance that our harriers have been competing with all season long," Barry said.
