MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Junior Nate Marshall and sophomore Dave Andreychuk each scored a minute-and-half apart in the first period, igniting Chatham's 6-2 win over Morristown-Beard in its ice hockey season opener played Monday night at Mennen Sports Arena.

Andreychuk also scored in the third period and added an assist in the game for Chatham, which received a goal and an assist from sophomore forward Alex Laferriere.

Evan Schmidt collected a goal and two assists for the Cougars. Griffin Tully converted a pass from Jack Deletto for Chatham's final goal. Also credited with assists for Chatham were Matt White, Matt Keane and Brian Nall.

Goalie Zachary Pendergrast was credited with 21 saves in earning the win. Thomas Dempsey and Brayden Patricia each scored for Morristown-Beard.
