CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Borough Mayor Bruce Harris made sure that the members of the Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department knew that their service is appreciated when he addressed them at the firehouse on Wednesday morning.

Harris made his remarks (see video below) during the traditional "inspection" by the mayor and borough council before the start of the 64th annual Fourth of July Parade.

Chatham Borough Fire Chief Doug Allan (see video below) introduced parade Grand Marshal Charlie Salin, who. he noted as the fire chief on Sept. 11, 2001, when the terrorist attacks were made on the World Trade Center.
