CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Borough Mayor Bruce Harris responded when asked about the resignation of administrator Robert Falzarano that he was "very sorry to see him go."
Falzarano, the Chatham Borough Administrator for the last 16 years, informed the borough on Wednesday that he had accepted a similar position in Harding Township.
"Over the years we have worked together very hard to make Borough government professional and responsive to the needs of the residents," Harris said. "We made a lot of progress, and Bob gets much of the credit for our successes. I wish him the best of luck in his new position."
The mayor and borough council will hold special meeting 7:30 p.m. Monday to discuss a successor.
