Mayor’s Wellness Campaign Kick-Off “Health Chat” Series

The Mayor’s Wellness Campaign, in conjunction with Chatham Borough and Chatham Township, will hold a series of “Health Chats” in 2011.  The free series is designed to provide valuable health-related information to Chatham residents and the surrounding communities. 

The first program, “What You Should be Asking Your Doctor: Empower Yourself,” will be held on January 27, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Library of The Chathams, 214 Main Street, Chatham NJ.  The featured speaker will be Tobi Ippolito, MD, an internal medicine physician on staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.  Dr. Ippolito will review key questions that people can ask their physicians to make the most of their next doctor’s appointment.

The mission of the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign is to develop and implement active-living initiatives in our community with the ultimate goal of improving health and reducing health care costs that come with the obesity problem in New Jersey.
